that type s really hauls! the engine seemed louder than mine w/intake! lol but anyway it was the type s model and the only thing i didnt like about it was the titanium interior. (gotta have ebony) but other than that the car was virtually flawless.....sound system wasnt a concern for me when an 8000 rpm redline is involved

There is a TSB out on the bass issue on the Type S...turns out the polarities were reversed. If you get the car you can either fix it yourself or mention it to the dealer.

know that 21,650 is the invoice for the Type S...and that its 1 yr bday for the 2k2 model was 7/2/2k1. Now that 2003's are coming out it should def be easier to get around invoice for the car. You should be trying to get OTD for around 22-23k no options (add any options to that). Dont let them rape you for the car, let them know if you dont get the price you want youll go to another dealer.

i basically told the salesman while driving that i am willing to drive to oklahoma to get the best deal. He assured me that with them being the largest volume dealer in texas and 3rd in the nation that i would get the best deal. I'm still keeping my ears open and checking around to let them know.
