rsx type-s
my mom finally told me i can trade my car in on a rsx type-s. I might be getting it tommorow. it is silver with blacvk interior. everybody pray for me that it is still there tommorrow. thanks, civicpride
Are you one of those spoiled kids that have their parents buy their cars for them? I can't see why you'd need permission otherwise.
Anyway, sweet deal! I wish I could afford an RSX Type-S...

good luck but dont have your hopes to high on it dont get me wrong it a v6 stang killer and junk but i need more speed out of mine i am concidering selling mine for a 95 rx-7
I wished i can afford sumthing better than my 2k1 LX coupe, but then i'm struggling with insurence on this car already, insurence suggested a cheaper car...i was like "how cheaper than a civic can you go?!, it's a godamn civic! it's as cheap as cheap can get" anyhow it's a honda better than a kia or hyundai.... so if i could afford the insurence for a rsx or better i would go for it, but then my parents don't pay for everything in life, they got stuff to pay for rather than my car and my insurence

lets not assume he's spoiled or whatever. or his parents buying it.
just cuz his parents are involved with the decision making, doesn't mean they're paying for it in full.
even if they are, maybe he deserves it. *shrug*
anyhow, enjoy a step-up from slow to quick.

Yea maybe...but a word of advice...if you are paying the insurance be very careful..because insurance is not cheap for it and if you get in a wreck or something Id hate to see the rate for someone our age (under 25)
Actually, insurance for a civic is one of the top ten most expensive (excluding exotics). It mostly deals with the fact that they have a high rate of being stolen as well as their proclivity towards modification. Sucks to be us.
If you get it, take care of it.
Because an insurance hike could have your car parked for a while.

as long as we're on the subject of rsx type-s...
i was at the acura dealership today in santa rosa, ca. my uncle was at the ford dealer ship next door... anyways i was looking at a black rsx type-s. and this sales man comes up and asks me what i know about the car. yada yada. anyways he starts up the car and he said lets go for a test drive. so i was um ok. im only 17. so he all happy and im in the passenger. and hes redlining the poor car every gear. i can hear it wale. i notice the car has less then 100 miles on it... so we go into this deserted road and he tells me to drive. and i have no knowledge how to work a stick cause i drive an auto. so i do ok in 1st then i chirp into second then i try to get into third but i kinda dont. and i think im in neutral so the car is like redlining. so i stop and i tell him to drive.
god i wish i had enough money to buy that beast. its so nice.

Also, as for insurance, my rate just increased due to the amt of claims on the vics this year.
I think it's because I'm turning 21 so my rate will be about the same once they "lower it".

I wouldn't call that spoiled where I live. In the next school district to the west, kids reguarly drive vipers and such to school. of course to the east, kids parents can barely afford a house. Anyways, have fun with the car man, be careful

i took some pics today. i do not have the car officially, because the bank has it from the previous owner. i will get it in a day or 2. by the way, the reason i have to have permission from my mom, is because she is kinda like my finacial advisor. i have a trust fund, but i can not touch it until a certain age. but since my mom put it in there for me a couple of years ago, and i am not old enough, i have to ask her to take some out when i need it. you see, since i am not old enough she has to get it out for me.
