Trade-in

Do we lose value on our cars(2K1) if we have mods on it when we trade it in?

depends on the mod. stuff like the OEM spoiler and kit would add value to the car. stuff like an octane kit.. well.. nope

Depends on where you trade it in to and where you are. I know that the dealership I used to work for loved cars with mods to be traded in because they knew they would be immeditaly sold. The cars that came in with mods never made it to the lot the techs always bought them before they were even booked.

would speakers be something that should be put back to OEM.

I could understand subs and amps and HU, but what about the ones in the doors and in the back?

Yeah I wouldn't leave the good speakers in there get those OEM ones back in there. But things like Clear Headlights you couldn't really do much with. But like rims I would never trade in with, thats another reason I am keeping the Hubs for that and winter. But I know my dealer probably wouldn't give you anything for extra mods.

I was just thinking that more than likely they would not fit in your next car.

Wouldn't it be a pluse to sell a car with an upgraded sound system?
