Test Drive results..

I Finally got around to Test driving an RSX-S and I have mixed feelings about it... It's very lively and has aloota go power. Appearance wise tis sweet..interior was quite nice..except the dash still looks typically honda in that they used a cheap look plastic..

The sound system actually is pretty good and very balanced..they ahve to stop running the mids full range though..

I like the older Integra's platform alot better though...the RSX seems to be a little too front heavy an prone to understeer..a little too much so..

Otherwise..all of with RSX's..Happy driving.. . But please ditch the factory sounds..or high pass the 6.5's and get a 10" sub to get a very balanced system

Is there not an Acura dealer near you or somethin?

The RSX is quite heavy. The steering in the older Integras was top notch. I feel the steering is better in our cars.

As the successor for the Integra GS-R, it's successful in power. But there's still something that sets the Integra apart from the RSX... can't quite describe it.

I know in some places it can be hard to find a Type S...the dealer I bought from had only bases for a while.

As for steering I actually like the RSX over my 7G...but then again I can never usually tell about stuff like that anyways (since I dont autox or anything).

You Don't have to autocross.. literally just go 20mph in a parking lot and make sharp turns,,you'll feel the difference right away..it's better than our 7g civics...but nowhere near as crisp as the older tegs..

Judging only off the base models (dealers don't have Type S here) the cornering was a little suspect, and I can't compare it to my 7thgen, because my first mod was springs, literally the day after I got my car. So everything else not lowered I drive, seems to steer, corner, turn badly.

But I did notice a little understeer, but that might've been me not juding the power not correctly and ish like that. I only had a 10 minute test drive.

I just test drove one yesterday as well,........suspension wise, I'm w/ ray, I don't remember how it was on my 7thgen,........but my 7thgen def. handles better.......
But I fell in love w/ the RSX-X......sooooo much more power than the civic.....obviously.......
I liked the dash.......the air vents...sweet......
I'm debating on the trade in. I might wait another year or so.
We'll see.

like u guys said you are comparing your lowered rides to a stock ride height...im sure the rsx would compare equally with a nice drop.
