Dudes!!! Purge Valve is for safety!! Not for looks or cloud!! How do u want to get the pressure of the line when u want to fill up the bottle? Have fun with 600-1000 psi of cold a@@ nitrous sitting on the line!! Good luck! I placed my purge valve exit in a little a@@ hole that drains water. It is on the passenger side right under the winshield u will see a small opening. with some patience u can run ur purge hose through that.

Don't have it come out the hood and straight up into the air. Whoever you race may think your cleaning your windshield and make fun of you.[hr]

This is the typical set up for a purge system. Every car in the NHRA that uses N20 purges just aft of the hood and before the windshield. Why? because N20 will freeze components (-250 F when it comes out), so venting straight up, helps out in that regard, as well as putting on a show for the spectators. As for safty, thats bullshit. If anything, the N20 in the line is weaker then in the bottle and at a lower pressure, meaning that your not going to get the full on power that you would from a fresh shot from the bottle. The only REAL reason to purge a line is to get rid of any stale N20 that may be in the line at the time as to allow a fresh shot to be delivered at the very start of the race (rather then having to use the stale N20 thats already partially warm air).
BTW Z3 fenders are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO played out, and were t3h ghae anyway.

No, the person who just posted that idiotic comment should be made fun of.
