I remember seeing a couple threads on the subject and I believe a large number of you are interested in or already have dual exhaust.

I was thinking, why not have a single, sideways-mounted can with either single or dual tips on each side?

Something like this (it's for a BMW M3):

not that its really impressive just sitting alone, but i personally like the look of the new M3 exhaust. if i had the ***** and the money to try it, i would, but im content with my greddy evo. as for you others, hey, if u got the money and the desire, go for it! i think it would be pretty unique, not to mention it would look rather pimp with the right rear bumper/skirt. g'luck!

LOL...yeah, it does but its just 'cause of the sharp edges to it--kind of a German thing. It should not be any heavier than a regular muffler of similar size. I also didn't mean to suggest this particular muffler for our cars, just the concept of it: Elongated, single inlet can with tips at either end to give the appearnce of a dual exhaust setup.

Truth be told, I like Porsche's version a lot more, especially the center mounted tips--I think these would look pimp on a Civic but who knows...
