5 safest car of all times

got this from Link

The five safest cars of all time:

Buick LeSabre (model year 2000)
Honda Civic (model year 2001)
Lincoln LS (model year 2001)
Volkswagen Passat (model years 2000 and 2001)
Volvo S80 (model year 2001)

"The inclusion of the Honda Civic on the list might be an eye-opener."

Buick huh? I woudn't have guessed. Guess those old geezers need protection too, since they can't see over the steering wheel.

I can't believe the Volvo 240 DL isn't on the list. That thing was indestructible (a 4-door sedan weighing close to 4000 lbs). I used to drive one of those in high school and college, and one time this drunk driver rear ended me at a stop light (he was doing about 45-50 mph). His car was all smashed up and totalled - mine just had some scratch marks on the bumper lol.

Those results definitly have some kind of conditions..

THere's NO WAY a civic is safer than a mercedes, or BMW, or Jag.. no possible way..

Yeah the new civic is nice and I can see where it would be safer than my past 88 Civic I wish I had side airbags on my ride though my dads accord has it.

Yes way! Just becasue a car costs more doesn't mean its safer, check the results from the insurance companies and the D.O.T.
