how much is it gunna cost you? just wondering cause i dont think its worth it.. it would make switching lanes very tough, i know i would have gotten into many accidents if i couldn't see the blind spot

That conversion is NOT illegal at all. As long as you have side mirrors, it won't be a problem. You can tint your rear windows to the point were they are completely blacked out, so why would this be illegal? Think about Vans like the Econoline which do not have any side quarter panel windows... It is the same theory.
