How come..no one changes there round light

I had a question..
How come...and I could be wrong..no one changes there light color in the round part of our headlight..It shines clear but can be changed to any color...
I changed mine to blue..this part of the headlight to my knowledge dont do jack but shine clear...
VW guys do it all the time

whatcha talkin about? i've got strobes in my parking lights. i eliminated them entirely.

hmm... probably cuz it would be RICE!

personally i think that light is really dumb... nobody's come up with any cool/creative things to do with it i guess

well to be honest, i've changed mine too...

i put in the APC "super white" 194 bulbs... hoping that they'd be more blue, but they're alright... they match the headlight's color much better (lite glow xenon-blue-white-something)

main reason is that besides blue and orange, i haven't seen many other colors available (for the 194 bulbs...)

I installed rocket launchers in mine. The come in handy when grandma doesn't wanna speed up or move outta the way!!!! I lie, I just put some strobes in there.

Yeah I was thinking about replacing those too. But I don't know what to match with the Sylvania Cool Blue ones I got already.

i've contacted sylvania before.. they only have the small cool blue bulbs in europe and refuse to sell them here. kinda stupid if you ask me.. but oh well.

i think both me and toasty were the first to put strobes into those parking lights.. anyone at our nat bailey meet would remember.. lol

I don't suggest going w/ the PIAA H-4's(superplazmas).....and the PIAA parking lights(HIDWANNABE).....they don't match at all......[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG].....but I keep em into untill the Real HID conversion fits in my budget
