rsxS compared to wrx?

anyone have any good information comparing the two cars? there stock specs? and how they react to performance mods? im looking into selling and purchasing one of these two vehicals... WRX should be cheaper insurance from it being 4 door, but its a bit more expensive to start off with... but what are the performce comparasins? pros and cons of each compared to egother?

You are comparing a Turbo Sedan to a NA Coupe...sorta two diff things...ive heard the WRX puts out good power with a chip and boost to its turbo, but that its tranny may have some trouble...personally the RSX is a good choice to go with if ud like a reliable NA motor with a lot of power. Also the K series motors extract a lot of HP from just bolt ons.

RSX looks much better for starters, but the WRX is a lot faster 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, RSX-S in 6.8 seconds. Also according to Sports Compact Car Magazine you can get about 40HP jus from a few bolt ons alone (i think its Mays issue)
If you dont mind the the looks of the WRX then that would be better buy for torque and speed, but if you want an overall good looking but conservative coupe get the RSX

Preformance wise you cannot go wrong with either of them.

But there are ALOT of other things to look at.

For one thing, the brand name - Subaru/Acura.

While the WRX are hot, by being named car of the year by most publications, Subaru doesn't have that name recogntion like Acura does so it *might* hurt its resale value.

Also with the brand, you know Acuras are good to go for many, many years without any major problems. Subaru and WRX are still unproven.

In terms of looks, thats all you. I personally find the WRX to be very sporty and if modded correctly it simply looks bad-***. The RSX to me looks more like our 7thGens, and while that isn't a bad thing it would be more of the same for me.

The RSX-S doesn't scream luxoury or sports car, and that may be because of the styling. It is somewhere in the middle.
