**my custom shop messed up!**
I got my AEM CAI put on along with the bypass. I'm going in tomorrow because they didn't secure the lower tube on the bracket with the bolt so I'm going to b*tch about that a bit and also they put the bypass in on the upper tube right in the middle of the AEM sticker. Should it go there or did they mess up? If anyone has a pic of there AEM bypass on I would really appreciate them.

how much you paid to get it installed?
it was great when i first got my AEM CAI, about 2 months went by and my K&N airfilter FELL OFF!! the bastard fell out on the road so i had to buy another one for 60$. Also , the speed shop that installed it did something wrong because the SOB rubs against the hood! theres a small dent in the hood as well as the paint rubbed through on the top of the intake . BLAST!!!
Okay, the bypass is on the upper pipe right in the middle of it. I'm talking like dead center. Plus the lower part isn't anchored to anything. Lay of me alright, I'm only 16 and would you rather pay someone or have your Dad butting in the whole time you are installing it telling you thats stupid and a waste of time and money?? It cost me $63.

age isn't a factor. or it shouldn't be at least. just follow the instructions.
i'm only 17. i cleared my headlights with help of a friend. install subs/amp. its easy stuff.
just get all the info before you start anything

Here is a pic from the AEM Website..its a 2k1...
You can basically place it anywhere as long as it is about a foot away from the throttle...
