Trade in a 2k2 Civic (still on financing)

Hi,

Does anyone know if I can go back to my dealer and tell them I want to trade in my Civic for a CRV by just adding my monthly payment?

I am fiancing my car with Honda Finace.....does this mean that I can go trade in in any Honda DEALERS?

THANKS!!!!!!!!

You will probably be able to do it, but you'll lose money on the deal. They need to make money of your trade, so they'll pay you less than they can sell it for, and then add the difference between what u owe and what they give u to the price of the CRV.

There is always a way, but i'm sure it will mean you losing a lot of money, go to the dealer tell them your situation-if they give ya hard time walk out and visit another one, someones always willing to deal with you for a sale

Actually, I stopped by the Dealer yesterday and asked him something like that. I asked him what my options were. I am also being financed by Honda. He said that they could work something out. He was real cool about it.

They will just close the current loan and reopen a new loan for the new car. No big deal. You will lose several thousand dollars however.
