450 bhp very nice, but it's still an Audi, which is in fact an overpriced VW, not to mention the fact that it's still a family saloon.
How much it is ? Somewhere near the price of an M3 ? I'd rather have that. Or spend my money on 2 extra Honda's

VW is a budget audi. all the R&D came from audi, the engines were developed by audi, and audi has long been in the sport/luxury market, well before they were bought by VW. audi is one of the best cars out there, especially with the quattro. i'll take an S4 over the M3 any day. um, anyone who says no thank you to an S4 is on crack or something.

I don't think thats the case with him being a person who can't afford something, and has to resort to being a hater.
I think he is misinformed, and doesn't realize how great of a car a S4 is and a brand name like Audi is.
Just because its 4 door, doesn't make it a "family car"

Rep Power: 0 first of all for your imformations Audi cars has won numorous times in WRC before the wrx and evo's were even born...second if u went to the dealer u will notice that an audi is a better deal than BMW..with a price tag like S4 we are talkin bout a BMW 330xi not a M3...and both of these cars are in dff. class. one is FR N/A the ofther is AWD Turbo...and wut is the most can u do with a N/A car? with a turbo car there are enless possiblities...and for ppl that think these cars are overpriced cause they coudl buy 3 cars for the price of one...its just in a diff leauge ..diff styles...not every1 lieks to play with civcs..it not a law that only civics can get hooked up...civic are for normal ppl...ppl with a littel more money might want a S4 over a civc..its just liek u pickin the civic over the mirage, the mirage is cheaper but it also looks cheaper than the civic...just my $0.02

Rep Power: 0 I never once said that Audi was crap, so I don't know where you got that from. And I also didn't say my Civic is better. I said I'd rather spend my money on 2 extra Honda's for instance. And last time I looked Audi's were more expensive than VW's. And yes Audi has been in the sports market a long time and has achieved a lot and probably has the best 4X4 system long before Subaru got around. But I just don't like them. VW in general for that matter. You asked us for our opinion. I never said the S4 was bad, I just said I didn't like it and like the M3 or even a 330Ci a lot more for instance. And off-course they can't be compared. Ok, another option then, I like the S3 somewhat more then the S4, but not a lot.
As for 911's being VW beetle's on steroids, basically it's true. But what's wrong with that ? Porsche 's are excellent cars. But I like Ferarri or Aston Martin more. But once again, they can't be compared. Or can they ? Isn't this all a matter of taste ?

i love the S4...it's one sweeet ride but too bad north america never got the RS4...that is my favourite Audi all time..if you are into european car like me will know what i am talking about.
