Got pulled over for tail lights
I have some TYC tail lights and a cop pulled me over after following me for a couple of miles cause he thought they were illegal. It felt soooo good getting out of my car and showing him that they were legal. They came with a card that says they're legal, so I showed him that too cause he was still skeptical that they were legal. Ha ha ha
They are always trying to put the 'rice' in hot water. Looks like the hot water got him instead.
He might have been a little out of it, since he didn't have his doughnut fix.

As for the card, it's a good thing you had it. I'm always willing to listen to someone before I start writing.
Some states permit the white LED windshield washer lights, but my state doesn't allow any color of them.
As far as the "hastling," if that's what you want to call it, the cop was just doing his job. He *believed* that the tail lights were illegal, but then discovered they were not. The officer was simply doing his job.

pa law states that your car has to have red rear side reflectors, which some altezzas dont have...I know several people who have been fined and had to replace their lights because of it...simple moral of the story is unless ur car is an IS 300 dont rice your car out
i think mainly cops will pull anybody over
cuz of drugs or beer or somethin illegal,
but then find out you have nothing then write up
some stupid bullsh!t, my friend got a taillight

do you gotta take your taillght out and bring it to

That's somewhat inappropriate. After all, we really don't eat donuts at all anymore.

Many officers from my department retire to the Central Florida area; apparantly you can "lateral" transfer from my department into many Florida departments which means they accept a certification from my department without having to go through an academy again.
I am down in Florida often, however, I don't think I'd move there just yet...

PA has a lot of laws I have noticed like no tint I believe, and now red sidemarkers. Sounds kind of like another California out there.
But yeah I have had clear tails on my past civic and I just got sick and tired of being hassled so on my new ride I just haven't felt like getting anything but stock and I still like my OEM ones if they are all red and blink and brake one color I am happy.

actually tint here is controversial...supposedly as long as 60% of light gets thru its cool, but pa law states "if you can see into the car" its legal. Most people however take 30% as legal limit.
Same as out here, but some will give you tickets for limo and some won't but if you have 32 or 22 they won't say anything. So just curious Neo on your RSX-S, will it be ready this week?

I just want to apologies to QCKSILVR. I didn't mean any disrespect to you. I did mean disrespect to that particular police officer.
Just a laugh at long gone stereotype.
Again I am sorry if I had offended you.

Well, it's okay. I'm a firm believer in the officer treating a civilian with respect, which is why if you feel you were treated poorly, then file a complaint with the officers supervisor. Most officers have a badge number and a name. I have both that I wear on my uniform.
That's pretty much the best route if you believe an officer is being disrespectful or unprofessional.
