1/4 mile with nitrous
I've searched and have seen estimated times for what we might expect to run the 1/4 with nitrous, but does anyone have an actual 1/4 mile time they ran with nitrous? I have an 01 lx 5 spd with Injen CAI, Type X exhaust, AEM pulleys, and a Kamikaze header. If nobody has a 1/4 mile time with nitrous, could someone tell my what I might expect to run with my mods and a 50 shot?

I could definitely feel a change in the throttle response with the pulleys. I believe dyno tests give them about an 8-10 hp increase, but I haven't dynoed my car yet, so can't tell you. The guys who put them in for me said they went on perfect without any problems, plus they're red, as well as my car, so they look really good. As for the header, the performance shop I go to called DC, and they told them that they weren't making a header for the LX because of emmissions. I've done alot of research on the header for the LX, and the only one that I found that is specifically made for the LX is from Kamikaze, plus they boast a 4-5 more hp increase than DC. Another strange thing is that I don't believe Kamikaze makes a header for the EX, only the DX and LX.
Acutally I am interested in this as well, even though I am not a big nitrous fan. With a good driver behind the wheel I would imagine they could run mid to high 12's, well with some other mods as well.

A 50-shot of Nitrous is not going to make you super fast. It's going to put you in RSX-S 1/4 mile time probably.... if you are a good driver and time the shot well.
6th gen civic EX running 100 shot this weekend ran a best of 14.6. His shot was set for WOT.
Another part of the problem is trying to get your tires to not spin like mad.

At Sacramento raceway I run anywhere between 16.1 to 15.799 depending on the temperature on wednesday nights.
I have DC sports headers, CheckPoint cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust, H&R springs, and a RS Grill. I think thats where I get most power...from the grill. AEM pullys are a waste of money. From the other 2 7th gen civics I see out there that have AEM pulleys they say they notice a difference only on the freeway after 90mph. Right now I am having my ecu chipped by JET. I will see if that makes a difference.
See you wednesday nights and on the summut series races...Kev
