Import Car Show on TV tonight (10:30pm)
Just wanted to remind anybody who's interested ...
Hi-Rev Tuners is on tonight (every Sunday) at 10:30pm on Speedvision (or SpeedChannel). Here's the link for tonight's show ..... there's a segment on a guy with 19" rims on his 2000 Civic.
But what the hell is this? Focus with VTEC??? I hope this is a typo... [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Look at what type of show they play on TNN. It should be called AMC(American Male Channel) and not The Nashville Network.

I think the name of this channel recently got changed from SpeedVision to SpeedChannel ( link ).

Rep Power: 0 There used to be an import car show on TNN (sponsored by Meguiars I think ) with a super annoying host. This show was even ricier than Hi-Rev Tuners and was pretty much a joke. At least with Hi-Rev Tuners they have some fairly good-looking hostesses (Ann Poonkasem and Katrina Fraze).

Rep Power: 0 Those hosts are super annoying. Have you noticed how the guys sentences always break up, like he has to stop and think of every two words. The show is a bit on the ricey side but I still watch it[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Ya, that "BMW" Civic was pretty sad ... it really makes all Civics look bad. The guy did a lot of work and spent a lot of money, but it looked terrible.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah I saw that BMW Civic, it was a cool idea, but IMO it looked like crap, but hey each to his own.
I still cant stand the camera work as well as the guy who hosts it, the chicks seem to know more than him, I dont know if he can even speak english, I know there are guys on this site that could do the job better than him anyday, I think his uncle got him the job on the show.

Rep Power: 0 Ya, it's not the best in terms of production quality, but it's the only one out there so far. And they do show quite a bit of stuff in just half an hour.
And I have to agree that those shaky camera shots are too much. I think they're trying too hard to make the show look cool by twisting and turning the camera. JUST KEEP IT STILL DAMMIT! ... so we can see the stuff properly!
