Videos Comparing the DC2R & the DC5R?
here are nice videos comparing the new genration Integra Type R (DC5R or like said in the US RSX-R) against the previous genration of the Integra Type R (DC2R). The modified DC2 INTEGRA's had cams, headers, exhaust, vtec controllers and the likes, while the DC5 INTEGRA's only had the suspension done and an exhaust replacement.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOLY SH'T! THESE VIDEOS ARE PRICELESS!
YOU ARE DA MAN!
Well...
In conclusion it looks like the new Integra (RSX) Type R can keep up with the older ones and vice versa. Once the older Integras were able to finish before both of the RSXs but they each held there own... this is awesome... it's two ITRs vs two RSX-Rs. This is a platinum post! I WANT MORE! (Just cuz I'm an ITR *****, muahahahahaha.) And though the second video is the last video, it surely isn't the very last part of the race! Is there not one available in just one big file? (Even if it still finishes like the second one does.)

I love them both... I dunno, I think the RSX Type R will be more refined due to it having 6 gears but the Integra Type R will always be a classic as the first most capable front-wheel drive production car ever. Next year, expect it's return.
The funny thing is, it's actually got competition! (Impreza, Lancer EVO VII... the AWDers)...

I saw the Gingerman ITR... it's actually one of the tackiest looking ITRs I've ever seen...
However...
Found a 7 minute video clip of that DC2R race against a race car on that track... it's called "The Hunt". It was interesting... (I was hella happy at the end.)
Not too long ago the 2002 Integra Type R Expo occured there. You can check it out at their webpage. If my plans for the RSX Type R are successful next year, then I will try to attend the 2003 expo next year.
EDIT: That race I just described was #3.
I didn't re-download it again, DAP just showed the URL and said I had already DLed it. Hehe... kew...
And I saw the last one... that video is good! Look at my boys in the DC2R and DC5R go! BEAUTIFUL race!
EDIT AGAIN: The AutoX ones were nice too, especially the 1st one. It REALLY tells you that if you wanna put your car through cones... you should not be driving this.

I still haven't learned the Civic's chassis codes. I have'em somewhere... I know they start with the letter E... like EK, and EM...
Edit: Some of us use the chassis codes to easily tell the cars apart... especially for the Integra Type R as there are two of them now. But we can't really call it the RSX Type R cuz it's not really here yet. (And some of us just like to call it Integra still because that's what it still is in Japan. If you're happen to talk to someone in a different country where there's no Acura and only Honda, they're gonna call it Integra, too!) So to tell the two apart, the 4-letter chassis code it's given is used to tell the two apart. It's pretty universal.

Well SoNiCcIvIc i wanted to add this info that you can add to your diary , our civics are the ES model. The 2001/02 top range civic coupe are called the EX in the US, but it is called 1.7i ES in Europe. if you check the parts section of the JIC suspension on Linky
JIC part numbers for our civics are:
SF-1: part#: ESSF1
FLT-2: part#: ESFLT2
FLT-A2: part#: ESFLTA2
The suspension part numbers all start with ES, which is the car model.
hope this helps!
