Toyota will introduce a separate brand called Scion. It is spose to be aimed at young people since they are afraid that they will turn into Buick. This is from Sport Compact Car July 2002 issue.

They are ugly as sin. There is one is a boxy truck with phat system, but ugly.

Yeah I remember seeing that, it could be intersting to see what comes out of them for this. My guess is it could be dealer "riced" from the factory, but then its Toyota, and they do have the TRD name, so it could be good.

IMO, they need a sripped-down version of the Celica with the 180-hp engine and all the TRD goodies for it...young people will go for that, even if it is a tad more expensive tahn the current Celica.

they'll always be in competition....they' got their Celicas, Matrix, and stuff...also their Camry, and mah fave 4Runner
