Ok, probably blew the rear main in my 5 spd m/t, heavy layer of oil/grease/???, best product to remove said layer(s), lol, my main concern is the tranny/clutch case as I will be replacing the engine

Brake clean/solvent/engine degreaser and a stiff brush.
