disappointed in the 2k1's and 2k2s....
i was really hyped when i bought my 2k1 civic.. i've started to notice that its extremly slow! the paint chips really easy, and there are other minor problems that add up. now i'm triing to sell my civic and it seems nearly impossible becouse everyone knows that its so slow...what a waist!

I don't think people aren't buying it cause they think it is slow. How many economy cars that hit 60mph in 6secs do you know of? First, unless you have a really hot car in high demand or get real lucky, it takes a while to sell a car to another individual. Cars priced 6k and below sell best in person to person transactions. Most people don't have 10-13k cash to come and give you. They have to go to a bank apply for a loan and wait for approval. Plus, they can go to a dealer and get a new vic for a little more and a lot of times, get a better interest rate compared to a loan from bank to individual.
It will sell eventually.

whoa wake up fool its an economy car. why did u buy the car in the first place? did u think it was fast? jesus some people are hopelessly ignorant
sounds like ssRacer is a newbie....if u want a fast car then why bother buy a civic. i love my civic cuz i dont have to take the BUS in the winter and it gets me to any place i want and it save me gas unlike the V8 mustang or the big SUV that drink gas like it's free. and plus insurance is cheap on civic and for the price civic selling, you can't find any better choice. cuz the corolla has no resale value now whereas civic still get more money than a corolla or echo when you decided to sell. it is true that the 7th Gen suspension setup is crap but hey we must sacifice something if we want the car to be cheap. so if you dont like your civic then i suggest you sell it and get a Evolution 7 if you want speed. just my 2 cents here.

want some cheese with your wine? i think it is cause you know nothing about cars, and beat the **** out of your civic. I have zero issue's with my civic, and I have had zero problems with my other civics.

did you even get in the car before you bought it ?? Did you do any research at all????? You do know its a Honda, right??? I'm sorry but ignorance is no excuse. You can't flame the car if you didn't do the research........
Corollas have decent resale value but not as good as the vics. As said earlier in the thread if you want a fast car, get a WRX or something but vics are slow. Plus honda had to change how they make cars as other manufacturers cause of the new crash test deals, and ULEV emmisions tey have to make here in cali. Overall if you end up buying anothercar i suggest research research research and take time before making the decision to buy it. if you have to test drive it 100 times before y ou buy it, then do so to make sure it is what you want, latez
