Rsx clutch replacement

Can I drop the trans on my 02 type s rsx without dropping the subframe?

Only time I've ever removed the trans is with the engine still attached. If I were to guess, I'd say no. There's just not enough room. Service manual also says the sub-frame has to be removed.

idk about an RSX but on my EM2 (2002 civic ex), it would've been faster to drop the subframe. Took 2 people to change the clutch without dropping the subframe. One pulling the bell housing back, one trying like mad to unbolt everything then subsequently trying to align the damn thing. Me and my buddy had access to a DIY shop on a Navy base and still took for-f'in-ever to swap the damn thing. If you have the ability to drop the subframe, I'd just go that route.
