hello Guys i have a old time friend that is willing to sell me his 2001 acura integra gs 5 speed shifter for 2,500 bananas $ LOL but wait its acura i should be able to post it up on a hondaforum since honda is the twin brother of acura right? LOL OK. so kidin aside the acura integra is a one time owner owned since new stored and garaged on and off on many winter seasons but not all winter seasons. body's condn is near perfect for its year. engines got 360.000 original Ks" starts fine runs like new he says will pass e-test or any safety certificate required has put on new all season tires from a year ago did the time belt kit hole job to same time wants to sell to make more room in his garage.and says he has many others willing to pay more . although i could use another car but at the same time i dont need it unless the cost is in my favoure what should i look for? aside from a rust free body and starts fine? have not drivin it yet for fear he would take me to serious lol

personally i'd stick with the honda and let someone else pay more. 2200 bought me a bad *** mint stock 2001 prelude with 95k miles a couple years back. IMO those are ugly and you'll be paying acura part prices when the time comes. i saw one lose a drag race to a hummer (@17.9) at 41 raceway last year, crowd went wild. that is also very high mileage, garage kept or not

if he has " many others willing to pay more"... let them, IMO

...there isn't much mark up on Acura parts of that year because the engine/transmission/suspension/breaks share parts with hondas.

Go for It, I have one It's great!

and that price is normal for a DC4 they're a lot rarer than a prelude.

hello i have talked to the owner today he also says the struts radiater have been changed out about 4 years ago the only thing not to cold is the A/C? but does blow some cold still he says it just needs r134 top up on gas to blow cold topping up A/C is that something i can do myself ? thanks for posting guys.!

Pat was a honest and curteous as they get. and took the time to help me out even though he was extremely busy with repairs that said alot about the man.! to me, now i take any repairs i cant fix myself there Just for that reason. getting back to the acura integra honestly if the oil consumtion is low and all major

components like engine transmission and body are in good shap and work well and no engine light or any other lights are on and operates normal like starts well drives well no noises anywhere and engine temp looks normal i would bargain on the price with him.

$100 for a top up seems reasonable by all means what about just getting a can of dexcool from ct as a top up or is that what your guy did? im still not sure if im ready to dive into this acura just yet but if i do thats a good point on check"n the temperature gauge and any noises? i do no it starts well hes been over my place with it oil consumption dont no but i could ask thats a good question to ask i guess? i do no he has driven to quebec ont many times and back and gone out far west with it as well on leisure trips hes also gotten his hood and bumper repainted from all the stone chips along the way too, and oh Yes body shap / shape brags is great too kiddin aside thanks again guys..!

You mean using this https://www.princessauto.com/en/deta...go/A-p8726903e to try getting colder A/C to work i tried it and it didnt work the fitting clicked on ok to the Low side line fitting on vehicle but nothing of the product would go in to fill the A/C thats with A/C on full blast closely following Cans instructions. dont bother with useing dexcool either or any stuff. its

a waist of time ended up returning it back and takeing it to a pro like Xgm that got it working right and blowing cold,! also ask the questiones has the clutch or any other work been done whats the maintenance been like on this 360,000km acura? even if all checks out its still a high mileage vehicle where you could drive it 10 more years or only 5 years more depending on how well it can hold up so be prepared to get it cheap. LOL
