Aren't our car the best?

How many of you can say you don't look back at your car everytime you park it? You just can't stop thinking about it. Really no Domestic car can really match up to the dominance of the 4 cyl. import engine. The power that these people can squeeze out of a 4 cyl is unimaginable. Imagine that kind of effeciency in a bigger engine. For domestics size is all that matters, oh yeah and appearance features. C'mon the best they can do is a transformable SUV or a back door on a coupe. Doesn't that just make it into a sedan? Size is not all that matters, in cars alteast. Compare a football lineman to a wide reciever. A smaller and quicker car is more agile, graceful, maneuverable, and more fun to drive than a huge bus that burns gas faster then you can fill the tank. You think you are fooling anyone with miles to the tank numbers? That's all because you have a 30 gallon friggin tank in your semi. HONDA bring over the Type-R and shut these arrogant size flaunting bastards up. Don't run over my car when you try to parellel your tank in a cramped space. I know this is a hotly contested topic, but who can blame me for my commitment? I own a Civic.

YEAH!!! right on, I love my civic and would trade it for the world. (well, maybe the whole world!:laugh but I have had my civic for a year and a half and I still look at it everytime I park it and think it's the best. (which it is!)

I hate SUV's and the whole SUV craze..
it seems so dumb that people will buy these off-road machines to carry people around in...get a mini van damn it..and now they've made all these fake SUV's that can't even handle the off roading (toyota Rav-4, Honda CRV etc.)...they're just there for style...IT's like taking your civic DX and putting an SIR emblem on it!

no our cars are not the best. stock the handling is not that great. whoopie you get lots of mpg. thats great and all but you must realize that you are running a 1.7 litre engine. you will not get much power out of that, without blowing your life savings on your civic. i do agree with you about suvs. they **** me off so much. however comparing hp per litre is downright stupid. thats not going to win you any races when you pull up next to a gas dumping american muscle car.

btw, i think the z06 currently has the best handling out there...it pulled i think 1.06 g on the skidpad or somethin.

domestic pride...just stuck with an import.

How can you compare a 16 grand Civic to a 50 grand Z06? I would hope that the z06 has a better suspension for the 34 thousand more it is.

i agree with likeweeeeee our cars is not the best i rather get an rsx but i couldnt afford it
and civics arent that fast unless u go all out on it but its the same as a corolla both cars are slow and if u put only a intake and exhaust u still slow only thing that does is make ur car sound fast u still cant beat no stock gsr or si
that is my opinion but i still love my car even though its slow

Fast, slow, good, bad. I dont care, I didnt buy my car and expect to get a BMW performance car, but for what the car cost it was worth every penny, as well I love doing mods to it and making her look good. In the end, I have to go to my window like a million times a day to look at my car becuase I love it. So i guess if you wanted more from your car, then do some mods to bring it up to your liking or buy a car that fits your needs.

Ok, I do look back too, after parking.

I love my Civic. But there is one thing HONDA **** me off

That is the STEERING wheel. Most of other model, RSX, integra, type R, CRV , s2000 etc... have very nice and sporty steering wheel and meaty.

I mean how much it will cost HONDA to put in a similar one for our car, instead of this stock thin steering wheel with the siver and black old logo. Do they purposely , one to tell you that this is a sedan, and " I WILL NOT FIT SPORTY STEERING FOR IT"

I am ****, cos the steering wheel is one of the soul of driving, you are basically holding it 95% of the time, cant we get a little visual pleasure. HUH HOnda? wake-up!!!!!!!!!!!

p/s: me not changing a after market steering wheel, cos too complicated and cannot match it.

I like my car, but I don't think it's the greatest thing in the world. And there's plenty of domestics I'd rather have.

Well it's not the BEST in my opinion, but I sure am more than pleased with my car. I bought my Civic as it seemed to be a very practical car and has proven to be. I have not yet had one problem with it. I like my Civic much better than a Mustang too. I'm planning to move to a 3 series BMW in a year or two, but all in all, I am very pleased with my car.

I lvoe my car the color is awesome. I do have a tendancy to look at my car when im walking away or when im by a window i look out all the time. And it is great when other people come up to u and tell u that ur car is nice. and that they love the color and all taht stuff. the thing i hate the most is when girls say that my car is cute or pretty. i hate that.

i love m car, im always glancing at it and i love going by people and having them look at it too. all i know is that i drove my dad's porsche all weekend (junior prom weekend) and no one looked at the thing and no one came up to me to say "nice car" or anyhting. it seems that that only happens with my car...

it's a GREAT car to get to point A to point B. but it is not the BEST car in the world yet. and if they improve the suspension design then it would be much better.
