About 7th gen Civic coupes

Our cars are basically Europeans in one way isn't it? No coupes like ours are sold in Japan and other few countries except United Kingdom. The coupes in Europe looks tad different at Honda so yeah.. Just wanted to say that.

Here's some pic of the UK Civic Coupes:

I like the rear bumper and the taillights.. what do you guys think?

Actually the Bumper Light is a Rear Fog Lamp

itz an extra bright Light (same brightness as when brakes are pressed)
it comes on when you turn your fog lamps on.
the whole point is to be able to be seen better.
I hope that helps!

That light on the bumper is a "reverse fog light" so when in fog your turn it on, people approaching you from behind can see you better. My mom's Audi has the same thing.

the first time that i saw those "reverse fog lights" (it was an new oldsmobile aurora, i think) i got confused. i though that something was wrong with the guys brake lights. looks 'different', in a cool way, on the civic.

I **HATE** people who use rear fog lamps, even when it is not foggy.... it is acutally blinding sometimes.

But no doubt, they help quite a bit in the fog/snow... sometimes the weather gets so bad, you can't see 10 metres ahead of you. But these things are stil visible.

goodness
after looking at the honda UK site, i feel totally jacked for car selection here... why don't we get the same selection of vehicles as the UK people do!!!

Those pics look a little bit different but not hugely.. the mirrors are cool, taillights are cool but I like the ones we have here in Canada, too... Not big on the wheels, and the red square on the back doesnt look balanced

My $0.02

Ha... due to American car standards Honda of America must keep the car looking cheap so it won't be as expensive. (Hehe, that's just what I think, not the actual truth.)

Question is: Would you really pay more for a rear fog light, folding mirrors, side-markers, etc? I want those folding mirrors, and I'll be happy. They can come unpainted... I just want folding mirrors! The only Civic I know of in the US that had folding mirrors were the 5th gens.

So what's different about the sedans out of curiosity? If I'm not mistaken... isn't there even a Civic Type R as a 4-door hatchback???

I presently live in Germany and they do have many different styles, but there basicly the same. The tail lights are cool but I think that fog light on the bumper is wack. I have never seen a 7th gen civic on the road here.linkyheres the honda web page in germany. They got a disel civic a 3 and a 5 door civic.

I wish we could get those wheels as the OEM ones, ya the rear light is common on Saab 9000's we have 2 of them in my household both with the rear fog light/ also acts as another reverse light, people used to always tell us that one of our reverse lights was out lol

Wow, just $2,000 more dollars for about 40 more horses, OEM body kit, and overall a better performance car... I'll take that. Probably wouldn't pass emmission laws in Cali but I dunno the emmision laws over in Europe anyhoo...
