Show or go?
What do you think is better and have a better time doing, show or racing? Do people still race as much as they used to?? I just got my car a few weeks ago and about to start moding it. i was thinking all show wit the basic bolt ons OR race wit bolt ons, gude head package and eventually pistons, rods(when they come out) wit a 75 shot. I would like to hear everyones opion. thanks

IMO i would say show
but its really up to you if you wanted speed why dident you go with a sentra SE-R Spec V or something faster for a lower price?
but i see where your coming from so yeah i say SHOW and maybe a little GO
its really up to you in what you want to do. Once your car has a lot of show people will be dumb and start reving, giving you crap about racing etc. To start with our cars aren't fast in order to get them fast a lot of money is needed or NOS is used. If you're saving up go with the new turbo coming out/out, it's talked about already in the forum and looks legit. That would be me if I had the $$$, but of course I don't. My suggestion or at least what I want to do= basic mods wheels, lower, exhaust, etc. basic bolt on's then hopefully getting some power to my engine.

Im gunna be the devil's advocate and say "go"! Racing the car is half the fun... it might be hard to make our cars fast, but put the time and effort in... then roast other cars

I would shoot for both. I am working very hard for my show part, although the speed wil never be as fast as i would love to have it, i am willing to wait for the speed to come. Something is bound to explode for our cars and speed. Hopefully soon. Honda really needs to put more power in their cars.

Show leaves you with more possibilities but Go is more challenging. You really can't make this car fast without Nitrous because no one wants to develop and sell us a FI system... do you have an automatic or 5spd? Its going to always be hella-slow if you have an automatic and no nitrous
not as bad with a manual.
I wouldn't call it racing, but i like accelerating fast.
and then slowing down to the approximate speed limit. Only time
i'll drag it if someone goes on the outside lane and try to cut me off where it merges into 1 lane.. but that's about it.
7th gen vics are show. If you want go, might as well buy a faster nicer car for the 3-5k in engine swap/mods.
