2016: The Civic Is Back

Looks like the Honda Civic is finally ready to compete with the Mazda 3 for best car in class. After a decade and a half of boring exteriors, goofy interiors, catering to kodgers and 2nd place finishes the 2016 Civic is ready to go 90's retro with sporty styling, DOHC and Turbo option (EX/SI models) to boot.

Honda Civic vs Mazda3: http://www.civicx.com/threads/2016-h...omparison.501/

Both great cars. Personally I like the new Civic's sedan and coupe styling over the 3's sedan styling. I prefer the 3's hatchback styling much more than the Civic hatch.

Have owned a '05 7th a '10 8th and currently a '13 9th.

Not sure where a the ball busting is coming from about the "last 2 generations" every one is talking about.

The 8th was a radical change for the Civic.....and the 9th the evolution of that.

Damn fine vehicles.

Hey folks..... IT'S A CIVIC !!

Fine vehicles but boring comparatively in performance and styling to the same years of the Mazda 3

Drove a 2016 civic, it was NIIIICE. Too bad there is a stop sale on all the 2.0 models currently. Drove the EX-T also, all i can say is WOW.

Re: 2016: The Civic Is Back

The only thing holding the new Civics back is the CVT. Hopefully, through potential feedback there will be non-CVT options in the very near future.
