HONDA PILOT SWAP??????

Well i was looking in Motortrend magazine, and i was looking at the new Honda Pilot. not too familiar with it but here are my questiongs...

--What series engine is it?

--Can we swap it in a 7th Gen?

--240 HP AND 24O TORQUE????

That would be pimp..240 horses..damn....

i read that they start production of the pilot next week.. my guess is that the engine would be too big. but thats an uneducated guess

Those Pilot's are crazy looking. I doubt the engine would fit and easier than a K20.

Mahdahvi Motorsports in Atlanta just put an NSX engine into a CRX. Crazy stuff... that thing ran a 12-something on street tires.

The pilot is a Single Overhead Cam engine...may be able to use the head....but doubt youre fittin the whole thing in the Civic engine bay. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Uh neo the pilot engine is the same as the MDX and it has DOHC so the PIlot also has DOHC

Neo is right the Honda Pilot is SOHC, the MDX also has SOHC. Look at acura's website for the MDX it shows SOHC
