I recently bought a 2013 LX Coupe, it has been awhile since I last owned a civic, was going through the owners manual and making sure that I was not missing something about the switches for the interior lights (Map Lights). The manual says there should be an on/off switch for the front Map Lights to come on and off when the door is opened/closed. I have no switch for that, and thought I would ask see if this is standard or my dealer just missed something. I have attached pictures of where I think that switch should be, but appears missing.

It appears the feature you are looking for is on EX/EX-L cars.
It is not included in an LX. Plain map light set for the LX, according to the info I found.

It seems the owners manual isn't very clear on that.
Kudos for RTFM though, you are one of the very few.

On my 2010 LX I tapped into dome and ran forward and put 2 of the stick-on super bright leds in the open lense area, they have held up great.
