What was your highest M.P.H. in the 2k1 Civic?
Hey! Just wondering what was your top speed in our Civics. I was driving home and I was at about 114-116 mpb. I chickened out from going faster because it was 1am, foggy, and going through hills and turns.
And please don't say pushing the needle past 160 mpb...unless you have a custom turbo or some sh*t like that.

Rep Power: 0 115mhp. I stopped because the car started following the white line like a train. I couldn't get the car to move off the path without a good yank so I had to slow down. I haven't tried to top her out since that time.

Rep Power: 0 yeaaa 120... coming back from san diego at 2 in the morn... no cars on the freeway... saw it as a golden opportunity and booked it... i thought my car was doing rather well... but once it hit 120 i heard this thud from my engine as the limiter kicked in... rpm drops... and so did speed... my speedometer reads up to 155... i think us civic owners got jipped 35 mph worth of power hahahahaha

Rep Power: 0 past the rev limiter is possible..I do that now and again in 2nd...I'd imagine you were in 4th gear doing this tho???.. In 5th, on an EX at redline with the gear ratios the car would be going just a tad over 140MPH..

Rep Power: 0 i got my ex 5 speed coupe to 130 with no performance mods. think it could make 132 if i didn't have the weight and it was a lil bit cooler-it's hot as ***** all the time here in southern louisiana-but theres definitly nothing left at that point. that's all she's got.
highest i got was 117.. it took forever to get up that high, and a turn was commin up so i slowed down.. i wanna go faster..
i remember gettin up to 145~155mph in my old nissan pathfinder.. that was a hoot

Rep Power: 0 5 speed ex coupe by my self on the freeway goin down a small decline i hit 132 and when i looked at the speedo my heart started to beat real fast palms got sweaty so i let off the gas
