I was in my 2001 ex coupe on the way home from this thing I was at with some friends, when one of them pulled up next to me in his early 90s 535i.... He looked over at me and instantly realized I wanted to race and was like, "Oh let's go bitch!" so the light just then turns green and we both stomp on the gas and I'm like just barely ahead for like half a second and then he got going and we were even for like a few seconds and then I was left way behind.... I think off the line for like a second I was good, but I'm not sure if that was just reaction time or not. But once he got going there was no chance for me [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] My car is still all stock as I have not had $$$ to do anything yet. What mods could have maybe given me a chance to keep up with him??? Anything? hehe.... Well it was fun for the few seconds it lasted!

i drove my mom's bf 1990 bmw 318 i...and it's not a fast car ...well not that model!...but the car dips way much more than our cars guys.....it's got 143 hp. and it's pretty light considering it's a bmw, it was stick-shift, and it dipped, however i never raced it against my car, and i got I/E...but i think it would take me.....
don't know if that made sence, i'm in a hurry jejeje

Go for it if you wanna race mid 80 BMW's....I raced my friends 535i which is a '86 and I smoked it.....we did a run just from like place to another place and I won...but in the long run he beat me....for short runs our Civic's are faster because of the weight issue!

And I was in a Auto sedan......a 5speed would smoke it anyday

200HP isn't much....the accord V6's are pushing that. I saw my first '02 BMW M3 today....333 horsepower.....THAT is a car to drool over. OMG they are soooo agressive looking
