Anybody know the steps to taking out the engine from the tranny I have everything unbolted but need help getting the torque converter off so I can slide the engine off from the tranny

Re: Y8 Engine removal
About 8 bolts, all 10mm heads. Once all are removed, the converter can spin independently of the flex plate. It may push back a few millimeters, that's it.
You have to pull the engine and trans straight apart until the snout of the converter is free from its bushing (maybe 1/2 inch?), or else it will be stuck tight by that bushing and try to pull the converter out of the trans.
If you can't, then you have to wiggle engine/trans while prying the converter away from the flex plate until completely released and free.
Do not dent the converter.
