Can you tell me how old these tires are?

This is a question about understanding DOT codes. I have an idea of how old these tires are but I'd like somebody to 2nd my idea. Please see the attached picture of my tire where the tire code reads DOT 51 0T J007. I just purchased these from tirerack.com. If it helps, they are Pirelli P4 Four Seasons, 185/60/14.
Not sure which of these links will work so you can see the picture...

Re: Can you tell me how old these tires are?

there is a warning for the 6-year limit on warranty (not sure if i agree that rubber degrades taht much, but that's me...)
"Treadlife/mileage warranties are also subject to time limits set by the tire manufacturers with most expiring 4-, 5- or 6-years from the date of purchase. This means that a 5,000 mile-a-year driver purchasing tires warranted for 5-years/40,000-miles would see it expire 5 years from the date of purchase even though they had only driven 25,000 miles. There would would be no warranty consideration due if those tires wore out after that."
this is also from tire-rack.

PS: are you sure you got the tires from tire rack? all this info could have been gotten in their website... with the exception that there might be an mistakenly placed date plug? (which does not affect tire performance at ll, let me tell this...)

You would also need to have bought it from an authorizes dealer with receipts.

Without those, you won't have any warranty anyways.
