How to reduce understeer

I thought long where to post this...
It could simply had gone to the 7th gen, but i do think this applies to all FWD.
I could simply had posted in the racing section, but then again this would apply to all FWD...
as mr22508 so eloquently put in his signature, the description of understeer is as follows:

"Now, its really quite simple. Understeer works like this: you drive down the road, turn the wheel, but the car keeps going straight, you crash into a tree and you die. OVERsteer works like this: you drive down the same bit of road, turn the wheel, the back of the car comes spinning around and you go off the road, crash into a tree and you die. Now, oversteer is best, because you don't see the tree that kills you. "

LOL!
well put!

this article was in the grassroots motorstports magazine, and now that this issue is out of the mag stands, i will post it here (hey, i need them to sell and keep making these awesome articles! )

here you go, enjoy!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I learned it as

"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of your car; oversteer is when you hit with the rear. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, and torque is how far you take the wall with you."
