Beat an RSX!
Well this was a while ago, but I beat a RSX. Not Type S, at least I hope not.
Remember this was when I was bone stock, nothing in my car.
Ok, so I see a RSX with an exhaust on the right hand side of the road, as I pass by him I throw at him 5000 RPM's and keep going. A few seconds later I see him coming onto my rearview mirror and switch to the right lane again, so I downshift to second.
I took him all the way to the top of third! Then we came to a slow and went at it again, and I kept up with him until fourth gear, where he went and took me. He had to turn off and I keep going straight and throw him a thumbs-up.
Now, remember this was when I was stock, and he had an exhaust. IN my current condition I think I could've tooken him. Sweet.

Edited for stupidity. Now I have a hard time believing this. Those things have like 140-160 horse.

Rep Power: 0 i have a rsx-s and i have raced both of my cars against each other and my rsx-s raped my civic it was UGLY anyways its possible if the rsx was the base model and it was a auto shift and he was not trying all that hard

BTW, how fast is the gt-s supposed to go stock. i think i read somewhere it was really low 15's??

Mbow, that's from the honda website but it didn't have 0-60 surprisingly which I would like to find out. the rsx type-s has a compression ratio of 11.0:1

Rep Power: 0 Actually, its not as good as the 6th gen. This has been shown time and time again. Its not a bad piece of machinery, but It just dosnt take the place of the 99-00. Scared? Please, did I not say I wished I was on the other side/flow of traffic? However this is not a thread to debate about Si's.

I didnt say you never ran it, I just said its possible to doctor anything on the internet these days, but im not surprised of the flaming you get when it was "supposedly" stock. although i do find it hard to belive, your 15.8 et that is.....i DO belive you.....under the right conditions (sea level, pratically empty tank of gas, removed spare tire, and possibly removed back seat)...i do think that our cars ARE capable of running a time like that......
i know for a fact that i have given many a car a run for their money, cars that i should have been spanked by.....
and honestly....it has a LOT to do w/ driver....
