The past few weeks I've noticed that when I turn on my car the maintenance required light flashes about 4 or 5 times and then goes away...I've never noticed this before, so I'm pretty sure it's never done this before....is maintenance required if it just flashes a few times? Or does it have to be lit up all the time? has this happened to anyone else?

I got that at 8500 miles...the dealer told me to change the oil and rotate the tires. After I changed the oil I had to hold the odometer button when I started the car and hold it down for a lil bit, then the light went off.

It happens when you go past a certain mileage and you don't reset the light. It's all in the manual.
