hellaflush or hellafunctional
I had a GREAT time at Stancewars this weekend, it reminded me how much I enjoy the hellaflush scene. It's so much easier to build a car that looks good sitting still than one that can perform on an autocross track and conform to class restrictions!

Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
That's a tough call. I'd personally meet in the middle. Something that is low and sexy, but not horrible to actually take corners with lol. Leaning a bit more towards flush... but I have never done autocross, I'm sure that would sway my opinion lol.
Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
i like to see all different styles.. i love going to cscs at cayuga. get to see all the hellaflush/show cars in show and shine.. then can walk over to the the track and watch the functional cars do time attack and drifting, also can watch drag racing.
Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
That's a tough one. I guess it's more of a "for business" or "for pleasure" type of thing. If you rolling DD it's function and if it's your show/track car it's form.
I think you have to have a compromise of both... style and performance
EDIT: WOW! I basically reiterated what shift-e said

Lol I thought the question was would you rather a show or track car? :P Track being function, Show being form. Why would you get a track car that is not based on function?
Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
I <3 Hellaflush ...and Hellarice
Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
Is both a choice? and not like meet in the middle both, but two cars? haha
My civic is my first car and I love it to death so instead of getting rid of it when I look to upgrade Ito something new, I want to make it a dedicated weekend warrior/autoX/track car and maybe have my new car have a more aggressive if less functional setup. At that point my vic would be old enough that I wouldn't have to worry about beating the hell out of it on the track.

Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
I think what I was getting at was that a true track car isn't suitable for a DD and same goes for true show car. Guess u could but maybe it wouldn't be that practical/comfortable of a ride. Ya know?

Re: hellaflush or hellafunctional
Yea lol. Personally I would get a car in the middle, more leading to show because I don't plan on racing it, however I would want it super functional for a DD. IMO I would not want to put money into a car and not drive it, anything I drive must be a DD lol. When I win the lottery and buy a lambo, you can be sure as hell that I'll be DD'ing that bad boy
