Engine check LIGHT ON AND THEN OFF!?

Hi, Guys,

Last week when I was going to Honda to have my summer tires mounted and I was driving on the highway at 100km/h, suddenly I noticed my Engine Check light is on.
This really made me nervous. I listened to the engine and front end, there seems to be nothing wrong.

So, when I arrived Honda, I told them to check this. The service guys finally told me that it's the torque convertor problem and they've ordered the torque converter for me.
Also, the guys told me this problem is on Service Bulletin which seems to be known problem! He said about 1 customer comes in for this problem every week on average recently.

What the HELL!

I asked the service guy if I'm safe to drive the car and got the answer as "you can drive the car as much as you want". IS THAT TRUE?

They've reset the Engine check light but on the way home, the light came on again and I found out that I was running REV 2600~2700 for 100Km/h which is abnormal.
But 2 days ago, I found out the light is off by itself, WHAT is going on there?

Anybody has the same problem as me?

It's a warranty thing but this made me doubt the quality of Honda!

Hope someone can give me more details about this.
Thanks.

news brief: although honda makes a great vehicle, and can be super reliable when taken care, just like any other car company in the world, they do have problems....dont let it worry you...
