Mang...today must be one of my wrost days ever...lets see...im drivin to pick up my sister from school..when a car on my right lane comes flyin by a cuts the car ahead of me...and for one reason or another slams on his brake..as a result...the car infront of me (jetta) slams on his brake and stops in time...but sadly i didnt..as i slam on my brake it locks and rear ends the jetta...i get out of the car to check out the damace...luckily the jetta had some minor scratches and his bumper was a lil out of place..however my car ends up wit a cracked and bashed in headlight...a hole in the front bumbper...the grill dented in...liscencse plate ripped out of its screws..and not that when i get home to pop the hood...i found out there may be a leak in the steering fluid..since there is a lot of liquid all over my car... now all im waitin for is for the owner of the jetta to find a qoute to see how much the damage is...hopefully it wont be more than 800 dollars...and also wait for the reaction of my parents when i tell them wut happens...hopefully they wont get too mad since im the one payin for the car, insurance, and everything...man i really hate this day

Is this forum cursed or something?

On Monday (April 22) I was just sitting at a stop sign at an intersection. Just paitently waiting for traffic to break so I could drive to work. Then up the road, some moron in a white trash Camaro drifts into the other lanes and causes an accident. Well one of the cars lost control and started heading straight towards my door. I brace for the impact but at the last moment, the Explorer swerves ang tags my quarter panel and bumper. Plus he hit the Accord behind me. And of course the Camaro hit and ran, so that means everyone is screwed.

So far the damage to just my car is over 2 grand and that is expected to get much higher. Oh well, I am alive, the body shop is doing a lot of things I wanted like shaving my emblems (H on the trunk, fill the holes) Fixing some door dings from some inconsiderate jerk and all.

And I got sent to the doctor for whiplash, all I can say is that there is better living through chemistry! I guess my car is no longer a virgin, but I was really hoping to avoid being in the club this way, lol.

The only thing I was thinking when I saw the car coming towards me was are these side air bags actually going to work?

Hey that sounds like a scam i saw on dateline or something like that a while back. Its called the cut n go or some crap. One car cuts in front of another car, that other car brakes and you hit him. Then he gets insurance money or may even sue you. Plus, its all your fault, cuz that guy that cut the other car off is long gone. Hope they dont sue...knock on wood

Cops come out and all that...sorry to hear about that...i know how it goes, i just got my car back from the second time because of a freakin accident...looks nice and they painted my M3s for free....can't complain toooo much

yeah i got the info on the jetta...however for the a$$ that cut the jetta off...she took off and neither i nor the person in the jetta got her info...and to answer civicer question...im pretty sure it wasnt a scam..cuz the person i hit...is the older brother of this girl that i kinda know that goes to the same school as my sis...however i kinda wish i got to know her better...so it would guarantee me he wont try to get the quote as high as possible...anyhow...im startin to get a lil freaked out..cuz it seems like a curse cuz during this month alone...me and 2 other friends rear-ended someone..and another one of my friend got rear-ended..im thinkin after payin off the dude in the jetta imma go buy a bodykit and projector instead of fixin the bumper..and the cracked headligh cuz i hear the stock front bumper is gonna cost me bout 500 dollars and then a lil more to get it painted...as a result i might as well get a xenon full bodykit and then a projector
