im a snowmobile nut... wonder what kind it was.... looks like an older merc... i went to a monster truck show here and there was a jet powered snowmobile. had a jet engine in it and had lil' wheels with brakes... too nice....

A new Artic Cat snowmobile 1000cc 2-stroke is about
187hp stock. Now thats a 1.0L 3 cylinder ..... with
*****. Its still just a snowmobile .... but damn.
A Banshee 4-wheeler is a 350cc 2-stroke w/ 28-32 hp
stock. On mine it is all ***** till 80mph. Its a
six speed and it accelerates as fast as you can push
the throttle and shift. Just hitting WOT anywhere
under 55 or so and you'll be pointing to the sky.

My neighbor races snowmobiles. Its even more impressive
to see them race the 1/4 mile on grass with a spiked
track.
The ski's never touch the ground the whole way. Insane.

Rep Power: 331 That really doesnt surprise me, I have a snowmobile 3 cyl artic cat w/ EFI and that thing flys.
I also own a yamaha warrior ATV thats bored to 440 CC's w/ a 6 spd , racing pipe and oversized carb and I know from expirience that that little thing can take all my friends cars in the 1/4
