I was wondering if anyone things our civics will someday become a sought after collectible car. If so which gen and model or if ones with certain engines will be worth more than others. Personally i think the 6th gen will be the most collectible especially any sedan or coupe from 99-00. let me know your thoughts!

I say the first generation civic. They already are collecting them in japan and have them restored.

i was wondering the same thing a while back. cause almost every car has some kind that's an envy to everyone that knows what it is, like my car is a huge source of envy to alot of neon people. =)
it's 1 in 405 made.

if you could start by finding how many of each trim level/year/body style/ect. and pick the ones that are kinda sparse, that would be a great place to start.
also, if there are any rare colors, those would be a good place to start.

Wow everyone is picking the 6th gen how retarded. The 1st gen will always beat the 6th gen in every way shape and form. Its the 1st gen I mean come on. Just cause you have a 6th gen doesnt mean you pick it hell I have a 7th gen and love it and didnt pick it. Obviusly none of you have seen 1st gens restored and looking in alot better shape than the newer civics.

They havent seen the 1st gen civic with a big block 427 in it and running 6's on a 1/4 of a mile either lol.

i like the 6th gen like i said. they have only made mainly hatchback si's so a gen with the first coupe si would probably be very sought after

6th gens are a dime a dozen, so are 7th. I wouldn't call civics a collectible just yet.
