Civic Hybrid = Nice!...
i found a link to a site for the new civic hybrid, and the car is pretty nice, especially the interior. the gauges look really cool(indiglo), and there is aluminum where the audio/climate controls are, and the shifter has chrome on it, and around it. the front bumper looks nice, but its a sedan, and i dont particularly like the look of the rear on the civic sedan, but for 50mpg, who cares about looks.
i wonder how hard it would be to get the chrome shifter part installed on my civic? i dont like chrome much, but that shifter looks bling bling!(is that the right word to use, i dont know anything )

If you're going to pay that kinda price for a Civic, they better give you a pretty interior. I doubt it will sell, what do you guys think?
I have the same shifter in my EL, I don't really like it. I wouldn't mind finding an aftermarket shifter that would look good with my car. The chrome piece gets dirty really really quickly.
The taillights on the hybrid are nicer than the regular... it's kinda like those Jag style Altezzas.

Hey,
My mom might be getting the Civic Hybrid. She loves the Insight but its hard to get over here and the hp is $hit. While the Civic is still rather low in the power department its still better then the insight plus it is a Sedan with the Civic look.
My mom is seriously considering getting one, which is cool for her because it is going to save ALOT of her money on gas, but she can afford any car but the Hybrid Civic is still nice.

I think it will sell. Here in Cali, I see a Toyota Prius almost every day. True, the insight doesn't sell well, but anything that ugly just simply shouldn't be bought. Anyway, yeah I think they will sell but I don't think that there will much if any aftermarket support for it. The engine is completely different from the D series.

LOL...I keep trying to explain to my wife that I need to do those mods to my daughter's power wheels.
I think the hybrid will sell ok. You won't see them everywhere but one here and there. The expensive price just kinda takes the sense out of getting one. You're not going to save that much more money in one year especially compared to the lx vic. I don't know....I guess if you are a green type person or something.
