I saw a blue g35 sedan at a local store parking lot. It was pretty dirty, but great looking. Great looking car with 260 hp under $30,000. all i can say is Anyone know how much the new 350z is gonna be?




Edit: NM i just found out how much the new 350z is. it ranges from 27,000-35,000. How can nissan release two cars that are basically aimed at the same audience. I would prefer the g35 though since it can fit more than two people. I just hope that either of these two cars eat up all the is300 owners out there. For some reason i can't stand those guys.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

ha in defense of the IS 300 guyz even though i dont drive an IS

i think the IS are much better looking and better equipped than the g35 and the 350z i mean lookswise

My moderately practical dream car is a 5spd yellow IS300 with a supercharger. But that runs at about $28k base and add several thou more with the FI, body kit, lowering, ect...

maybe I'll inherit some money or something.

infinitys are nice cars. a good friend of mine has an i-35 (same engine as the g-35; different chassis)--very nice. it hauls quite quickly. i also think it handles well. i think though the g-35 is much better i.e. RWD, but i don't like that back end.

It's not the first time. Guess what the '02 Maxima's largest competitor is? The V6 Altima Hell if they can do that, it's time for the CTR in America BTW, that car you posted pics of is not the G35, it's the JDM skyline sedan. Still looks good tho.

its basically a g35 with a body kit and tail light covers. IMO the taillight covers improve the car tremendously. Here are some pics of the coupe version

That car in the Background is another one you can't get in North America, the Nissan Stagea, which might as well be called the Skyline wagon.

I just came back from the Houston Auto Show and was talking to some hot looking ladies from Nissan North America about the new Z. The base model starts at a surprisingly low $26k, with standard Nismo options you would probably be looking closer to $30k. Nissan is trying to up the hp of the 350Z to 300, but for now they guarantee it will at least be 280. It is one SWEET car, that's all I have to say.

all I can say is I love where the auto indusrty is going..

by the time I can afford a 30,000 car brand new (5-10 yrs [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] ) its gonna be the hardest buying decision ever to make.. cause I'll have so many wonderfull options to chose from

umm i dont know about the styling of the G-35...
can u say altima look alike....

Nissians got a major problem with so many of their cars....they dont have an identity &lt;with the exception of the Z cars&gt;
look at the maxima for example....

I dont know, I think nissans are
its all about the honda and toyotas
and when it comes to luxury class
jees, just get a beemer you aint spending that much more than the infinity!

I think the g35 would kill any little 3 series bmw and probably the 5 series as well(excluding the v8), having around 230hp with the g35 having 260. Also, In terms of luxery Infiniti(Nissan) beats out Acura(Honda). All the acura cars are too plain with the exception of the rsx and nsx. I guess you could say that infinitis are plain too. I guess it just comes down to preference. I hope people support nissan in the import industry in the US. (fingers crossed)

Also, 350z starting at $26,000 with a possibilty of 300hp. Damn, the price puts it in or under the wrx, type s, Rsx typeR, Lancer Evo range. I'm thinking my next car will be a nissan; probably won't be for a while though.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]
