screaminDOHC you are an ***!!!! your car is faster because it has a bigger motor with one more cam than ours. do the ******* math! chris2k1 prolly raced the sohc neon(im pretty sure there is one, correct me if im wrong), he could have raced a bad driver, etc.
and no disrespect to mugenracer, but he should have known better than to race something that he knew had a more potent engine.
and there you go taunting civic owners again. how many times have you gotten your *** handed to you buy a comparably built 6 gen Si, or a GSR or even an LS. i know for a fact that you must have raced one at one time or another, and i know(assuming that driver skill is equal), they pounded your little neon all fcukin day.

Nah. I put over 20,000 miles on my car in one year...I wanted a good performance, decent milage yeilding, semi-long lasting tire. THe Kumho Ecsta 712 is a VERY good buy (performance/dollar)
Cheapskate? No. I just choose to save my money for more important things (wedding/house)

Oh. Someone who reads about the SRT, KNOWS that it's 205HP is at LOW boost levels. Much like my shadow. Stock on it was 7 psi. Think of what happens to that 205HP when you DOUBLE the boost (like my shadow)....Or MORE than double the boost. Let me tell you, there is a HUGE difference between 7psi (stock on the shadow) and when I cranked it up to 18psi. Not a good idea though, because i'm running a stock fuel system. But it moves....
So please, do yourself a favor, and dont make yourself look like an idiot...... i.e. "the SRT4 ONLY puts out 205 HP, imagine what Honda could do if they put a turbo on an S2k" Dont make yourself look like a retard, it isnt very flattering.

Rep Power: 0 I got your back DOHC, these people don't know what they're talking about. Half the people on this site run Kumho's, INCLUDING "the1st...." who cut up on em. Secondly, if Honda put a turbo on our motor (roughly the same hp as their neon +-15 horse) it definitely wouldn't push over 200 hp, so 205 for dodge is quite high output for a factory turbo. And I severely doubt DOHC had ever been owned by a somewhat stock Teg or Si or anything else. A turbo shadow is hella faster than anything you're picturing. Thirdly a neon will outhandle our cars any day of the week, put one of our cars with real coilovers and 17's against a STOCK neon with his 14's and I bet the civic is still gonna get a wakeup call on the twisties. Have some respect ladies, or are you like this all the time and just get pounded at every red light by less expensive cars? PEACE

Rep Power: 0 i actually ran againt the shadow r/t...it ran real close to my 99gsx....and i got a 16g...after the race a 55 year old man got out and told me to pop my hood..he was like "i almost had u"...i looked at his ride dead stock fatory turbo and ic....i had no idea that car was that fast until he told me what a powerful car it was....at first i though he was sprayin cause we were close until i hit my third gear...btw i ran a 12.7 my best time he ran a 13.3
i think this site is goin in a bad direction..ppl used to be cool well at least the senior members and up are still cool now everyone seems to bash anything and anyone that has something negative to say bout the 7th gen vic...

Shelby CSX ( 175 HP, mid 14's stock, 145mph)
And Shadow ES VNT (Competition package, 175HP)
They are EASY to mod...and strong motors...

My Shadow now dusts stock DSM's, and hangs right with mildly modded ones...

Rep Power: 0 damn that like a 20g....thats it i need to save up and get a frank..then i will be very close to a 10 sec car...u shoudl consider gettin a bigger turbo..then u can lower the boost this way u can save $ on engine mods because of the large turbo you will save u lots of money for the water pump, fule pump, etc...

To answer your question screaminDOHC... Since I'm not a fan of dodge/chrysler styling it's quite difficult fo me to really enjoy the appearance of any neon... However I do applaud your attention to detail and tradition...
