hondas from other countries
i know that some skylines can be brought to the us. now say you wanted to bring a type r car to the states. is it possible to bring a type r from australia? would it pass u.s regulations? the reason i ask is because australia has an integra type r (which is actually an rsx type r)
Sure you can...
But why? Just wait for the US RSX Type R. You'll save money. If the RSX Type R was gonna arrive here 5 years from now, then it might be worth the money. If you're thinking about importing a new Integra, just wait for it. You'll save money. If you're rich, then go ahead.
EDIT: If you happen to have "heard" that we're not getting a Type R RSX due to something stupid like emmision laws, don't believe it. Honda is gonna need another Type R to keep up with their competitors (or to AGAIN, kill their competition just like the 1997-2001 Integra Type R did. I don't think anything up to this point is better than that car of it's class until we see an RSX Type R... and I hope it'll be promising as Honda's VTEC engines mutate to i-VTEC. So far the Civic Type R's i-VTEC appears to be adequate and lives up to it's Type R badge.) The Integra has my attention, though.
And if you're even more curious about the faster Civic Type R, it's being debated... but it's nothing you should get your hopes up for.
Import a Honda NSX Type R or something. THAT would be something to remember.
