i'd go with 2.25" more pipe, more air flo, more power (in Tim Allen's Voice...AHRHaaraHAHRR)..its all good though.... get also headers, intake, and the exhaust <2.25> if not alredy have em..thats my suggestion

correct me if im wrong guys, cause i probably am...but ive heard that you dont need anything over 2" unless you have a forced induction system that is pushing your HP over the 200hp level. Too big of a pipe will make you lose back preasure, thus leading to an actual loss in HP. But again, im probably wrong

Well.. so does it sound dumb to go to a muffler shop and ask them to do 2" piping? i mean everywhere you go the norm is 2.25".. it sounds like the more balanced method is to do 2" custom for higher velocity.. since i don't see a turbo/SC/anything for our cars int he near future. I'm considering getting 2" not only because it sounds more reasonable, but will also keep the tone down since i have an auto.. what do you think?

2" is perfect, great for low and alil high. I had 2.5, and that was a big mistake.
