young at heart

so i was driving home last night with my girlfriend (HWY 1 north bound towards Aptos California from monterey) and was playin around with my new neuspeed shifter that i just had put it. Just throwin the shifts around like it was nothing. I was under hard acceleration gettin onto the the highway and i checked my blind spot and saw this white looked like a camery commin up behind me, but i figured that i was going fast enough so i kept on going. Well i guess the driver was going faster than i thought, cause when i was finally on the highway she was totally on my rear. I didnt think anything more of it till they started to pull hard around me a few seconds later. Well i was like, might as well make the best of it, and i down shift to 3rd and let it rip up to about 90 or so, and then i started to see the car in my mirror again. So we keep on driving and the highway goes into one lane for a while, but as soon as it went to 2 lanes again the camery tries to go around again! So im like whatever and i down shift again and take off, this time we didnt stop till we were at about 110mph. I started to slow down, and that gave me the opportunity to see the driver that i was runnin against. This old lady must have been like late 60's, and better yet she had like 3 other kids in the car. So now its just a moral thing...no old lady in a toyota is gonna own me, so i take off again, i can tell that she is tryin to keep up, but with my mad shifting skills, and monsterous SOHC V-TEC i increased my distance. Before i knew it, it was time for me to get onto the exit.
I just thought it was funny to see this old lady that could barely see over the wheel, racing me on the highway. dont worry people, it was 2am, and there was no one on the road, im not about to endanger anyone else, especially with my girl in the car.
Sorry about the long message

Sounds like you had some fun. I can identify though. I had a 00 accord and had 40-50 yr olds trying to race all the time. I guess some things never change.

I was driving my girl home last night and it had just snowed.... about 5-10 cm's on the road and the plows haden't been out yet. So I was going around a slight turn in the road and next thing I know I'm facing the other direction!! I did pretty much a perfect 180.... Luckly the guy behind me stopped in time!! Scary stuff.......

yeah can I say I almost died last night when my friend decided to go around the really sharp exit ramp at like 50mph in his GSR! dude we spun like 2X around - yeah it was the scariest thing ever and he all played it up like he had control.... yeah right! His excuse was "they should put up more of those yellow arrows so you know it is a sharp turn." There are already like 20 arrows... he is just a dumbass who is trying to kill me i think!
