Big Decision.....need help

The car
Recently I've been thinking about buying used, so today I was just messing around on Autotrader.com and this car has got me seriously thinking about it. I barely have enough money to pay my bills as is, and I would love the kind of financial freedom I could have with $100 less a month to pay for a loan. So should I do it?

Seems like a lot of cash for a car that is almost 10 years old, even with the mods that are done.

Well, if you will like the other car just as much, then go for it. One of the reasons I drive a vic is because the payments are half of what I can actually afford. Leaves money for going out, buying cds and being able to pop in the fast food joints anytime I want. Plus, you know you will never have a problem making the payment. Some people like to enjoy every dime they make, to each his own. Bottom line: The extra money will be very helpful for your wallet and your mind, but just make darn sure you will be happy with the car you trade the vic for.

I think I should clarify a little bit.......If I work full time like I am supposed to-lol-then I would have about $200 left over every month. But I have been thinking about the 5th gen Si for a while now. And this one is already modified like I would do to it. I'm only having a hard time deciding b/c if I do get rid of it, my '01 will be my first that I have ever missed. I'm just wondering if it would be worth it, especially with the money that I've put into my '01 already.

The turbo on it probably deteriorated the engine. Just MO. I don't like buying modded cars unless you feel like stripping the car to it's genitals to see what it's really made of.
