My Civic was equipped with FR 690s. When I went to the Firestone online catalog I could not find 690s. I think 680s were in the catalog, but it also only went up to 2000 cars. Firestone must be having problems if they haven't been able to update their online catalog for 2 years. But anyway, were the 690s new and exclusively new for the 7th gen Civic. I know that these tires are unpopular with most Civic owners. I'm a Goodyear guy myself, but I don't hate or love these tires, I'm more or less neutral toward them, they seem to hold the road half way decent. I once was talked into buying Akuret tires, I didn't think much of those.

the firestones my car came with sucked ****.. (can I say **** on here?) .. cool well yeah they suck **** an not very well I might add... def need better tracktion
