That's cool NEO.

I just got my custom license plate FRAME.
I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance!

((How do you post a pic? It has to be on a website somewhere, right?))

Yeah I was gonna get custom plates too on the Civic but I figured it's not worth the cost. Over here in IL is $140 extra the first time you get it and $13 every year for the sticker. Nice plate though.Weren't you selling that thing?

Why did you get a new plate, when you're in the process of selling your car ?

its $20 here in PA for a custom plate.

And I had put in the change of plate form back in early Febuary. Its not like I went down there today and had them pound me a plate right there.

Kick @ss Neo! Watch, some Focus driver in your area is going to see that... and get one that says "Go ZTec". (Not like one would want to advertise that".

Hey Snowman, I thought IL got free personalized plates. That's why everybody and their brother has one, or did they recently changed that?

You've noticed that too? Lots of cars from IL that I see have personalized plates. Here in New York, personalized plates are $37.25 and will increase your registration costs which you must pay every two years.

Yeah, I thought IL custom plates were free as long as they had a number in it or something like that - EVERYONE has one it seems.

Yes Bzrollin mentions it. As long as you have a combination like this: 3 letters 4 numbers, 4 letters 3 numbers, 5 letters 2 numbers and so on. If you want to get something like Neo which is all letters, you have to pay a around $80 more when you get it and $13 more a year. I couldn't think of one in time so I decided just to wait till next year and then change it.
