where should i put my emblem?

where should i put my emblem?
ok i shaved off my emblems. and now i want to mount the "Civic" emblem somewhere. but where? i was thinking on the passenger side dash. but if i use 3M double side adhesive tape, wont it damage the dash leather?

civ is an unknown quantity at this point
thats where i put mine so none can steal it like they do if its on the outside but i dont know if it will damage the material but it will eventually fade around it....hopes that made sense
